It’s Time To Get Ill
The flight to Flagstaff requires no in flight electronics because the view was all of the entertainment Jane and Carmen needed.
For other entertainment, Jane demonstrated how she could give herself the appearance of Jersey finger without having to injure her finger pulling up pants. Way to go Jane!
We landed in Flagstaff where both Jane and Carmen had their first experience walking onto the airfield apron to the terminal in the tiny airport.
What impressed everyone more was the weather! Jane and Carmen described it as fall crisp and cold with a fresh breeze blowing through the air.
We specifically reserved a minivan, to ensure riding comfort. Hertz didn’t have one, so they gave us the largest SUV they had as a “free upgrade”. I was highly skeptical this was an upgrade, but when we got to the car, Joel declared, “This car is Ill!” Carmen became concerned, unsure what “Ill” meant about the car. I translated that “Ill” meant cool in the 80’s. Joel and I broke out in song and had to play Beastie Boys “Time to Get Ill”. We have now decided that “Time to Get Ill” means time to get in the car. Joel says he feels like we are in a state department convoy.
Time to get Ill, doesn't disappoint. It reminds me of the Lil Wayne song. "Milli" the lyrics could be mistaken for "I'm Illin". Way to throw some old school rhymes Uncle Joel. I agree...that SUV is giving secret agent vibes!
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed day one updates. I feel informed properly.
ReplyDeleteI also searched to see if Bieber was in SA. Didn't find anything. But I'm gonna believe he was there in secret.
If you play Milli...might want to check for the clean version🤪
